Welcome to the first real bulletin, here is what’s new and ongoing.

Personal

• I spent winter break working on a new version of this blog, codename Jakarta. Not after the city, but most certainly after the font you see on this page. Read more…

• But, don’t worry, I also spent well needed time resting and with family (while coughing in between).

• There is much improvement to be done in the personal and mental health department, as always, so we just have to keep working on that.

• Trying to get back into some old hobbies and maybe new hobbies for the new year. Maybe we’ll get back into Apple Fitness+, write a book review for the blog— we’ll see.

Academics

• Continuing research under André van der Hoek, with a new focus in AI & Creativity.

• I’ll be a teaching assistant for IN4MATX 43, Introduction to Software Engineering under Hadar Ziv. I’ll be managing a few discussion sections, with about fifty students in them.

• Currently working on an experience report about an adapted version of SCRUM used during my senior capstone. We’re hoping to make it to the upcoming FSE deadline.

• Taking more classes to refine my research skills, or as my junior year English teacher would say, the tools in my toolbox.
